First the Mini...now the MG?

My friend Vasska shoudl still his heart: it appears that the MG roadster is set to come back, courtesy of China. My god; it will STILL have an electrical system that will be worthless. ;-)

Nanjing Automobile plan to recontinue production of the MG TF convertible at the Longbridge plant in Birmingham UK. They have a 30 year lease on part of the factory (One of my coworkers worked there building the Morris Marina in the late 70's/early 80's).
Nanjing also has the funding to build a US factory in Oklahoma and make a coupe version of the TF there. The plan is to make 20,000 coupes per year using a workforce of only 325.
